Noah Marell is the Chief Operating Officer at Aprio Wealth Management. With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Noah has a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams, driving organizational initiatives, and delivering results that support long-term growth. He brings a collaborative mindset to every project, building alignment across stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
Experience
Before stepping into his current role at Aprio in March 2025, Noah held leadership roles across several respected financial firms. He served as Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives at The Mather Group, LLC, and was a partner at Creative Planning, where he focused on private wealth management. He was also a partner at Wipfli Financial Advisors and began his career at ING Financial Partners.
Throughout his career, Noah has led large advisory teams, restructured service models, and launched new offerings that support both client needs and firm growth. His work has included developing a repricing initiative projected to generate over $9 million in revenue, expanding operations internationally, and introducing a national law firm partnership to streamline estate planning services. In his practice within Aprio, he continues to focus on building scalable solutions that align with organizational goals.
Education & Affiliations
Noah earned his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He currently serves as President of Beth El Synagogue and has held roles as Treasurer and Board Member for both the synagogue and its foundation. He previously served on the board of Minnesota Hillel from 2011 to 2025, including a term as Treasurer. His contributions have been recognized with the Capp Leadership Award in 2022 and the Jewish Community Leadership Development Award from the Minneapolis Jewish Federation in 2020.
